I am officially all ready for Ironman Brasil #6 here in Floripa. One of the many things I love about racing ironmans in very close proximity is how calm I am for the second one—definitely a very welcome side-effect. I am feeling relaxed and ready to go, and as usual, wanted to share with you the virtual-spectating details for tomorrow.
Follow Ironman Brasil live online coverage here.
Race begins at 3AM PST, tomorrow, Sunday!
One of my heroes, Fernanda Keller, and I at the press conference yesterday.
We will run up and down the main drag, pictured here, 3 times tomorrow.
Floripa is the home-away-from-home to the rich and famous here—lots of McMansions everywhere. It is hard to get one whole house in a picture. These homes line the avenue where we do much of our running; it’s also where most of the spectators hang out.
When we get to this end, we are very close to the finish (or transition, or a turnaround).
The finish line and remnants of yesterday’s rain.
Looking forward to seeing this tomorrow!
And to racing with some of my faves, like Kimmie Loeffler!

Forca nessas pernas (think strong legs)
Looks like your swim is real strong, and you’re no longer losing chunks of time on the bike.
You just gotta figure out how to consistently run a 3:20 – 3:25 marathon, and you’ll again be in the mix in all of these races….Looks like you’re making good progress…
