You know the song . . . One of my favorite things about the LA Marathon is hearing this song with 20,000+ of my closest friends right after the gun goes off. Classic LA. Love it.
What I’m not used to in LA is riding with Amanda! I feel like most of our friendship has transpired across the ocean from here—either in Hawaii or some other country. So it was such a trip to be riding through my old stomping grounds (I trained here from 2002-2005 during my early years racing ironman) with her yesterday—I loved it! We got to catch up on two wheels since I just cruised for a few hours on my sore run legs.
The GCM and I found a pool nearby! However, as we are still figuring things out here, I didn’t have enough pool hours last night to get in my 100x100s. Never fear: we did a band-only extravaganza instead and the 100x100s today! Yes!
Got a bit of a training hangover now and it appears that someone else does too. I love LA!

I had to youtube the song b/c I def dont’ know it. I guess growing up in rural small town Canada, we don’t grow up singing I love LA! (more like country…) Is missy sleeping with her nose snuggled in your armpit? my fave puppy snuggle- so cute.
