This is where I’ve spent my last three evenings.
Not bad, right??
I am the speck on the trail there . . . That’s a trail on top of the world, it seems —with views that go forever—and it’s just a couple miles above our little cabin.
I just got home from a drizzly double-run-day second run with Jenny Fletcher, one of my lovely training partners here. It was awesome to have company to keep me moving after a treadmill smashfest this morning.
The pic is from last night’s after-lotsa-climbing-on-bike/ tired-legs/ run-til-8PM run . . . after a 5PM coffee fix. Missy Moo and Dad had a leisurely stroll and spectated.
Monday’s miles were social bonus miles on my “swim-only day” with my girlfriend Michele, who was visiting for the afternoon.
This one never gets old.

It really never does get old. I keep waiting for it to get all crusty and stale and it just doesn’t. What a great part of living!
Not bad indeed!!!
Do you do all your hard/interval running sessions on a treadmill?
Glad to see you guys are having a blast there!!!
Looks beautiful! And I LOVE that pic!!!
This sunday whe I take on the IMUK in the grey weather I’ll think of this pretty trail with all that sunshine and warm colours
