She did it!! Indeed there were two Kona slots for the 25-29 age group at Ironman Canada, so Jennifer is going to Kona! Of course she has Vegas 70.3 World Champs just two weeks from now as well . . .
In case you missed it, she finished with a 3:35 marathon and an overall time of 10:27 to place second in her age group on Sunday.
The hardware! And a sidenote: an ironman awards banquet with actual tablecloths and real glasses . . . not many of those left!
SO PROUD! I am pinching myself that out of my small but powerful stable of athletes, we now have FOUR who will be racing in Kona!! It is going to be such a treat to be there as full-time Coach and sherpa (and cheering section for the BFF as well!!). I can’t wait!
