It was a big weekend here in the Dirty T. You see, a new chip bowl has been added to the neighborhood barbecue set-up . . .
So we had big reason to celebrate. Ever the humble champ, Leanda still used her koa wood bowls to serve potato salad and chips, and literally ran out of the room when someone tried to toast her recent accomplishments. And then tonight evening she was in the pool with us for a 5k swim session, getting the work done . . . No rest for the weary: she still has three races left in 2012! The woman never ceases to inspire me.
The celebrations actually began on Saturday (Actually it seems like they never stopped this week?!?! Hmm that would explain the disappearance of my fitness . . .) as it was Marilyn’s birthday. We hit up Old Tucson for the occasion—and it turns out they serve margaritas there. Who knew.
I have a podcast to share today: before the race, I caught up with Bevan and John of IMTalk—and predicted our women’s champ.

Just listened to the interview…..nice!

Ah-Ah! great use for her champion’s bowl, she should use it for serving salad and she should wear the medal around her neck every day . I know I would.

I listen to IMtalk every week when I do the housework. Can’t wait to listen to the latest podcast
