Sample camp itinerary (subject to change):
Thursday afternoon:
Social Coastal Run & Short cold plunge in the ocean
Group Welcome Dinner
Friday:
AM: SWIM
Mid/ PM: Mt Palomar Ride: 60 miles and 5-6000 feet of climbing.
Saturday:
AM: Swim-Run Madness! Swim/run/swim/run/swim/ run extravaganza in open water (salt water lagoon)
PM: Easy 2-3 hour loop on the bike
Sunday:
Long ride: Long Mountain Ride (120 miles/ 12,000 ft of climbing)
Monday:
AM: build run (of varying distances) on running path loops in park
mid/ PM: Distance Challenge Swim 100x100s or the like— swim may be 5,000 yards and up depends on athlete’s ability.
Group Dinner At Coaches’ House
Tuesday:
AM: Mt Woodson Trail Run+Hike ( about 5 hours)
Cost: $1375 for TeamHPB athletes/ $1500 for others. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot; balance is due one month out from start of camp. Camp fee includes coaching, SAG, swag from our sponsors, and 2 group dinners.
