Winter Camp 2020: Thursday January 16-Tuesday January 21st. Encinitas, CA
This is a training camp designed for men & women training for that half ironman distance and up who are able to complete all the outlined workouts. Our goal is to provide a weekend that both challenges and supports you into leaving a stronger and tougher athlete than you arrived.
Camp includes:
  • Challenging training sessions—swim, bike, and run—alongside 3x Ironman Champion Maik Twelsiek and TeamHPB Pro & Coach Alyssa Godesky, and Ultraman World Champion, Ironman Champion, & TeamHPB Head Coach, Hillary Biscay.
  • SAG support for long rides and pace groups to accommodate athletes of different speeds 
  • Individualized stroke instruction in the pool during swim workouts
  • Swag, courtesy of our sponsors
  • Two group meals

Thursday afternoon:

Social Coastal Run & Short cold plunge in the ocean

Group Welcome Dinner



Mid/ PM: Mt Palomar Ride: 60 miles and 5-6000 feet of climbing.


AM: Swim-Run Madness! Swim/run/swim/run/swim/ run extravaganza in open water (salt water lagoon)

PM: Easy 2-3 hour loop on the bike


Long ride: Long Mountain Ride (120 miles/ 12,000 ft of climbing)


AM: build run (of varying distances) on running path loops in park

mid/ PM: Distance Challenge Swim 100x100s or the like— swim may be 5,000 yards and up depends on athlete’s ability.

Group Dinner At Coaches’ House


AM: Mt Woodson Trail Run+Hike ( about 5 hours)

Cost: $1375 for TeamHPB athletes/ $1500 for others. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot; balance is due one month out from start of camp. Camp fee includes coaching, SAG, swag from our sponsors, and 2 group dinners.
